Pro-life groups picket zombie research laboratories
The pro-life protest |
Activists from the Pro-Life Proactive Committee have been shouting pro-life slogans via megaphones around laboratories in Cambridge, Edinburgh and London, while some scientists say that they have been personally threatened by the group because of their research.

"I have received death threats because of my work on reanimation of the dead," said Dr Geoff Steinway, head of undead examinations at the Umbrella Corporation. "My home phone receives around four or five such calls each day and my children have been targeted."
The final straw for him came when a parcel arrived at his house which blew up, injuring Dr Steinway's wife.
Defending his research, Dr Steinway said that zombie research was an important part of a person's choice to abort death and should not be threatened and he is now seeking police protection following the bomb.

However, while most pro-life groups have hit out at what they call "terrorist behaviour", several protestors, who would not give their names, labelled the researchers "murderers" and that they would continue their protest "until all such laboratories are closed".
Shares in Umbrella Corporation have declined because of the protests and the board is said to be looking at a way "to ensure that all humans will continue to have a choice", and that they were looking at ways "to convert people to their view".
