Unconfirmed reports claim that the girl who just can't wait for her parents to pop their clogs was about to film an advert when a makeup artist who was touching up her lipstick got jogged.
"I was just removing a white stain from around PARIS' mouth with my j-cloth when my elbow got knocked," makeup of makeup artists Ethel Berringman told reporters gathered at an 01:00 local time press conference at the exclusive Kings Head pub.
"When I removed it, she no longer had a mouth."
PARIS, who was on the set with fellow famous due to her parents star STELLA MCCARTNEY, was said to be furious.
"Where it not for her lack of chops, she would have been effing and blinding," added Ms Berringman.
Gagging
The confusion continued when the director attempted to get on with the shoot by demanding that Ethel draw on a smile as a quick-fix solution.
"But she [PARIS] was having none of it," stated Ethel. "She kept turning her head away. Her manager was there and told us in no uncertain terms that PARIS' smile was as unique as the MONA LISA's and there was no way she planned to be seen in public looking un-smug, let alone on a photo shoot."
The situation only was resolved when STELLA stepped in and designed a scarf on the spot that could be wrapped around the lower part of her face.
However, Ethel said that the story had a happy ending when PARIS was shown magazines detailing her personal fortune, advertising and film deals and party invites, whereupon her trademark haughty look returned.
However, with PARIS now about to serve 45 days in jail, it could be that the smug smile will once again disappear for a fleeting moment.
