World leaders gather at Davros
Davros flanked by Dalek guard as Tony Blair and Bono pledge their allegiance to him |
Tony Blair, along with figures such as Oxford's Professor of internet governance and regulation, Jonathan Zittrain and the heads of G8 nations, met to discuss the ecological and economic challenges ahead for the world.
Loose climate change
These includes global warming, the rise of Asia as a major economic power and enslavement by the Dalek race on threat of extermination. Gathering in the small Swiss mountain town named, coincidentally enough, Davos, the world's business and political leaders hope to thrash out a blueprint for the future that will allow them to survive at the expense of the rest of humanity.
The event is being held in a Swiss nuclear bunker, which should also allow the leaders to survive any futile attempt by rogue military commanders to launch an atomic strike against the disabled-access requiring alien overlords.
Hard cash strap
Even Bono has appeared, saying: "I think it's important for the West to come together to see the damage globalisation has done to the world and I hope they leave with a plan on how to act.
"I'd also like to add that my popular melodies and ability to gather thousands of people in a small area to see me could provide useful for any marshalling of new human slaves."
Angela Merkel, chancellor of Germany, echoed the sentiments, adding: "Resistance is futile."
Davros did not appear for any speeches, but his official spokesman said: "Exterminate! Exterminate! EXTERMINAAAATTTEEE!"
